Toonami viewers rejoice! Dr. Stone is soon to be joining the Toonami line-up! The Dr. Stone anime premiered on July 5th. Crunchyroll currently streams the series as episodes premiere, while Funimation offers a simuldub of the series. Now, the series will also be available to watch on the Toonami line-up every Saturday night!
Viz Media summarizes the first volume of the Dr. Stone manga:
“One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind- to kick-start civilization with the power of science!”
The first episode of the series will premiere on Toonami on August 24th at 12:00 AM EDT, so essentially August 25th. The Toonami schedule for that day is as follows:

The Dr. Stone manga has received overwhelmingly positive reviews. Crunchyroll gives the series a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Meanwhile, MyAnimeList gives it 8.1 out of 10 stars.
